WEEDS

I was looking at my front garden when I returned from church, and saw that it has some very beautiful flowers, with different colours and amazing beauty. They looked so admirable, and, as I thought of it, I knew they were mere weeds.

I mowed my garden two weeks ago, and I marvelled that within two weeks flowers and weeds have grown.

So what did I learn?

Weeds do not need much time to grow, it can grow in a twinkling of an eye, and spread very quickly. They can grow with great beauty, but it is still a weed. In fact, it can take over the garden if given space. Is my life not a garden for the Lord now? And is your life not a garden for God too?

What are the things growing in your life?

Have you got fruit or weeds?

Have you left your life untended?

Anger can spring forth very quickly. Jealousy can spring forth very quickly if you do not make your life continually bare before God your Maker and Redeemer.

Though the Cross of Christ has happened, are you still exposing your life to this effective gospel for your continuous sanctification?

=How is it with  your matrimony, how is your mother-children relationship?

Do you need to ask the Gardener to help you again?

Words of Wisdom

I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;  And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. Proverbs 24:30-31
