The bruised woman
In one of our blog, we looked at the woman, and how God is so much interested in the woman. This scripture Gen3:15 has become a life scripture for me. “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
There is a battle line drawn between the woman and the devil. Ever since the fall, God declared this battle between the woman and the enemy of God, unfortunately women seem to be behind in taking up this battle against God’s enemy, on the contrary the enemy is dealing with us women in many ways.
Women are affected all over the world with maternal death, HIV epidemics, Human trafficking in order to work as sex slaves, domestic slaves and many other ways.
Today, I am focusing on women and abortion.
What is abortion?
Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks.

An abortion is the medical process of ending a pregnancy so it doesn’t result in the birth of a baby. It’s also sometimes known as a termination. The pregnancy is ended either by taking medications or having a minor surgical procedure.

Abortion is more dangerous than childbirth. Not only does every abortion kill an innocent human being in the womb; but abortion is also more dangerous to the mother than if she were to give birth to the child. … Furthermore, “abortion actually increases the chance of maternal death in later pregnancies.

One of the effect of abortion on women is inability to conceive in the later future and living in the guilt of that act. One thing I always say is that we all have a past, what our past entails may be different.
If you have experienced abortion in the past, do not allow the guilt of the same weigh you down, instead reach out to God for forgives and hope for your future.
Another thing you ought to do now is to wage a good warfare against the enemy that seeks to destroy babies’ life ever before they were born, you can do this as you counsel other women from your past mistake.
I have come to know that personal testimony or experience is a strong weapon in God’s hands to open people’s heart and particularly women. Therefore, join God’s army in waging war against the enemy, as we join hands together to fight against abortion, first on our knees and as we support and counsel those who are intending to go through the process.
