Lessons from Philippians: Confidence in He who began His work in you

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:  Philippians 1:6 KJV

Women are usually fearful and fretful over many things. Even women who have come to know the complete work of the Cross still finds themselves losing confidence in God over an aspect of their life.

The above scripture encourages us to put our confidence in Jesus Christ and not in ourselves, for the self-life was put to death at the Cross.

God has a plan and a purpose in His heart for your life, and He alone will complete it for you. Your lack of confidence in God, your fear, concerns, sleeplessness will not work out the purpose of God, it will rather make you miserable.
Why do you need to be confident in God? Because when He says a word He also performs it,your part is to be confident in Him. God watches over His word to perform it. (Jeremiah1:12)

Your situation might change, people might change, but God is immutable.
There may be giants in the land, but if God has given the word, then He will come through for you, for God does not set you up for failure, even when disappointment comes, it is not the final answer, God is at work on behalf of as many women that turn to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. God promises us a flourishing finish (Jer 29:11), even though what that might mean for me might be different from yours, all you need to do is to rejoice and thank God and praise Him for always being so faithful. Finally, what are your concerns, fears, or troubles?Have you a word from God? Then trust Him and cast your cares on Him.

He that spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Romans 8:32 KJV
